The organisation is charged with running and developing an extensive, mixed-use portfolio of real estate operations across Hong Kong. As part of strategic expansion, they have recently launched a number of projects in China. As such, we are now looking for a Manager of Construction Scheduling to implement scheduling systems and standardisation across their China platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of P6 as the standard project management tool
  • Manage P6 on a day-to-day basis to ensure the platform is fully and appropriately utilized
  • Manage and coordinate various aspects of the project, especially in project methodology, protocols and tools design and maintenance, project issues management, tracking, cross departmental facilitation of inter-dependencies
  • Be responsible for implementing change management control and lead the design of database and input criteria pertaining to this enterprise solution
  • Partner with project personnel to establish project database / scheduling architecture and  fulfill the specific project needs and in considerations of synergy and alignment across different projects and monitor at an on-going basis
  • As part of the Integrated Programme Management Office (IPMO) team, ensure P6 and related initiatives ties into the overall IPMO project management framework, methodology and protocols
  • Prepare management reports on a regular basis for this area of work
  • Supervise and develop the IPMO scheduling team (2 schedulers) ; Provide training and guidance to project team members as needed


  • Construction or property development background, with a specialization in scheduling
  • Expertise in the use of Planning software (Primavera P6)
  • University degree in Engineering / Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong IT background with 10+ years’ experience on big size projects with at least 5 years being in a managerial role
  • Fluent in English, Chinese (preferred both Mandarin and Cantonese)
